March 2016 Benefit Event

If you’re a civic leader looking for a strategy to revitalize a neighborhood that’s struggling, you should think about craft breweries. Sam Holloway, President of CRAFTINGASTRATEGY.COM and an Associate Professor at the Pamplin School of Business will discuss his research of craft breweries, neighborhood wealth generation, and the business model of what it means to be truly ‘craft’. Holloway’s research shows that craft breweries are engines of societal wealth.

A recent article in the Portland Tribune by Peter Korn suggests these craft business models may be an answer to American society’s income inequality issues as well.

75% of ticket sales will benefit “The Pink Boots Society” a nonprofit that supports women in craft brewing.

Date:  Wednesday – March 30, 2016

Time: 5:30 – 7:30PM

Address: Impact Flow – 2222 NE Oregon St. Suite 207 , Portland OR 97232
